The Councilor for Education of the City of Molina de Segura, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, held a meeting, Thursday, April 6, with the Director General of Educational Innovation and Attention to Diversity of the Region of Murcia, Ana Millán Jiménez, to request resources To improve the quality of education in the municipality in terms of Attention to Diversity.
The meeting was also attended by technicians from the Department of Education and the Ministry of Education, as well as the Director of the EOEP in the area of ​​influence of Molina de Segura.
"It has been requested to open a new open classroom, due to the students that we have to school that need this resource and that, without this new unit, they will not be able to attend properly," explains Fuensanta Martinez.
In addition, the City Council has also requested the regional government to extend staffing for the EOEP in the area of ​​influence of Molina de Segura, for the attention of students with special educational needs and students with learning difficulties, due to the increase in the number of said students.
Another issue that has been raised in the meeting has been the revision of the agreement of collaboration that has the Ministry of Education with the City of Molina de Segura, where it is provided by two psychopedagogues, one in early care, and another in the general equipment, For the updating of this agreement to the new regulatory framework.
