The Talk Toxic at home and school, by Cari Navarro, member of Ecologistas en Acción, will take place on Wednesday, March 1, at 6:00 pm, in the auditorium of the School of Infantile Education of Paseo Rosales, promoted By the AMPA of this center, with the support of the Environmental Unit of the Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca (PEHSU), and the collaboration of the Department of Public Health of the City of Molina de Segura.
The purpose of the talk is to help citizens to identify broadly what nearby products are harmful to health.
Toxic substances are close to us, both at school and at home, and can be natural substances or artificial synthesis.
In the home we find two kinds of substances and some are as close as plants, with which children can be intoxicated, or kitchen utensils, with which we have daily contact.
There are also quite harmful products that we can identify by its label, but for this we must know to identify what type of products and where they are located.
Some of them are endocrine disruptors, which affect the hormonal balance of the human being, concept on which an exposure will be made to know the harmful effects it has on health and how we can avoid its intake.
