Molina de Segura City Hall commemorates World Wetlands Day (2 February) with a day of awareness raising on the importance of conserving wetlands and meeting its inhabitants, which will take place at the Information and Visitors Center of Las Lagunas Of Campotéjar on Sunday 5 February.
At 10:30 hours an ecological route will be conducted guided by Las Lagunas de Campotéjar to know this wetland and the rich fauna that inhabits it.
The typical vegetation of this natural space, associated with salt areas, will be identified, and observations will be made with telescope and binoculars of the waterfowl that visit it, especially in these cold days, where there are more influxes of birds fleeing the wave of Cold that affects Europe.
After the route, at 12.15 hours, the mobile workshop Las aves de las Lagunas will be developed.
Participants will know the main bird species that have been observed during the itinerary through the creation of fun and original mobile cardboard, which will also have to be colored, which will help identify each bird species improvement.
Finally, an explanatory visit will be made to the Visitor Information and Reception Center of Las Lagunas, with the help of information panels, illuminated murals on the fauna and the wheel of salt marsh vegetation, which will contribute to a better knowledge of this space Natural and rich biodiversity.
