Molina de Segura City Hall Councilor, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, accompanied by municipal technicians and technicians from SERCOMOSA, held a joint meeting, on Thursday, January 26, with the Director General of Water of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Environment and the Technical Director of ESAMUR, in which he explained the general problems in the area of ​​sanitation in the municipality of Molina de Segura, as well as the existing problems and needs in terms of Evacuation of rainwater in the North Zone (Eroski), Central Zone (Red Cross Station Street), and South Zone (N-301 La Brancha).

Also, due to the damages caused by the last rains in the municipality, it was also analyzed the need to provide general drainage collectors to the waters in the channels of the Subirana and Mayor ditches, in the area of ​​Huerta de Arriba and Huerta de Abajo .

Other problems analyzed at the meeting were: the salinity problem of the contributions in the Collector General Norte de Molina de Segura;

And the monitoring of the status of the works for the provision of general collector and purification in the hamlet of Los Valientes.

The Director General of Water reported that work is being carried out on the resolution of these problems, and that the technical drafting of the Technical Project is currently being adjudicated, which includes the works to be carried out in the Drainage and Sanitation System of Los Valientes.

Within three months, documentation could be available to begin the process of contracting the works.

For its part, the Manager of ESAMUR reported the inclusion in their budgets of the actions for the control of salinity in the Collector Norte de Molina.
