The Municipality of Molina de Segura and the company Sercomosa, responsible for the water supply service in the municipality, are studying formulas to compensate, on receipt of water, the residents of the town for the inconvenience caused by the recommendation not to drink Municipal water network.

The results of the tests carried out on Saturday show lower levels of trihalomethanes, but still the recommendation of not drinking tap water in Altorreal, Monteprincipe, El Llano de Molina, Los Conejos, Los Olivos, La Quinta, Toscas- Chorrico, Lookout of Agridulce and Los Vientos.

These areas represent 21% of the population, which is 15,000 inhabitants.

The City Council of Molina de Segura and Sercomosa will continue to carry out analyzes in these areas and are carrying out different actions so that tomorrow the levels of trihalomethanes continue descending, with the aim of being able to restore as soon as possible the normality in all the municipal term.
