The Municipality of Molina de Segura reports, in relation to the water quality of the municipal network for drinking, that after the analyzes carried out on Thursday, January 5 by the Commonwealth of Tallilla Channels (MCT) the neighbors and neighbors who They reside in TORREALTA, RIBERA DE MOLINA, CAMPOTÉJAR ALTA, CAMPOTÉJAR BAJA, EL ROMERAL, LOS VALIENTES, LA HORNERA and LA ALCAYNA can return to drink the water of the tap with normality.
The recommendation to abstain from drinking water from the municipal network is maintained, for the moment and until further notice, in other areas of the municipality.
In all cases the water of this network can be used without risk for the rest of domestic uses, such as: cooking, daily cleaning, cleaning, etc.
The City of Molina de Segura has asked citizens to refrain from drinking water from the municipal network because the levels of Trihalomethanes are above the sanitary criteria set for human consumption.
The water of the network, according to the Ministry of Health, can not be used as drinking water unless it is filtered through domestic devices containing active carbon, provided that they are in perfect conditions of maintenance .
The sampling is done in 16 points of the municipality daily and the City of Molina de Segura will keep the population informed through the municipal website and social networks.
