The opening ceremony of the new residence for people with intellectual disabilities of the Association of Parents and Protectors of Psychic Mentally Handicapped in Murcia (ASPAPROS) took place today Friday December 23 in Molina de Segura.
The President of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Pedro Antonio Sánchez López, Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, Family and Equal Opportunity Counselor, Violante Tomás Olivares, and ASPAPROS President Mariano Manzanares Towers.
The association ASPAPROS manages a Day Center, located in Calle Amistad, in the San Miguel de Molina de Segura neighborhood, which serves 185 users, and a residence with a capacity for 97 people.
At the moment they have occupied 52 squares of the residence.
For the attention of all the services, the association has a multidisciplinary team formed by 71 people, with psychologists, doctors, nurses, nursing auxiliaries, administrative, etc.
