The Alto del Rellano Nature Information Center opens its doors on Sunday, December 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a complete proposal of activities.
In addition to providing information on the environmental, landscape, cultural and tourist resources of the area, the center managed by the Department of Environment of the City of Molina de Segura organizes two interesting activities aimed at understanding the importance of geology in this area. Millions of years ago it was covered by the sea.
The proposed activities are:
10.30 hours: Geological route by the environment of the Ecological Park Vicente Blanes.
A guided tour to know the geological history of the environment and the unique geological formations that have developed over millions of years.
12.15: Find the fossil!
A fun geological gymkana where participants will become researchers for a day and learn to distinguish the most characteristic fossils found in this area.
Both activities are aimed at all audiences.
Participation is free and prior registration is not necessary.
At the Alto del Rellano Nature Information Center, which opens its doors on the second and fourth Sunday of each month, visitors can find information on the environmental values ​​of the Vicente Blanes Ecological Park and its natural environment, the landscape and cultural values ​​of The area and the Ecological Park itself, geological sites, marked natural trails and other resources for ecotourism, as well as the rural life of the hamlet where El Rellano is located.
