The act of signing an agreement between the City Council of Molina de Segura and the Molina de Segura Animal Protector for protection of animals and the promotion of their adoption took place today Wednesday, November 23, in the municipality of Molina.
The Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, the President of the Molina de Segura Animal Protector, Laura Belda Soto, and the Councilor for Public Health, Esther Sánchez Rodríguez, attended the ceremony.
The purpose of this agreement is the granting of a municipal subsidy of 3,500 euros to the Molina de Segura Animal Protector, to cooperate in the task of avoiding animal suffering, especially of dogs and cats, and abandoning it through campaigns of Awareness and by promoting responsible adoption.
The Molina de Segura Animal Protection Association was born as a new citizen voluntary association whose objective is also to avoid animal suffering and its abandonment, through citizen awareness campaigns and through the promotion of responsible adoption.
