The City of Molina de Segura has just completed the installation works of 161 points of light, of which 36 have been placed in the town and the remaining 125, equipped with technology "led" in the districts of the municipality, through a total of 22 different performances.
The installation of these points of light was one of the projects in the Participatory Budget last year and works for installation, which began in April, they were awarded by 176,693.43 euros.
Of the 36 points of light that have been installed in the village, stand three lampposts very high quality in the Plaza del Teatro Villa de Molina and 21 points on the ground, type beacon, Calle Santa Teresa.
Of the 125 points of light installed in the districts should be noted that 52 of them have detection system of people and vehicles, so that the lighting is 30% capacity while no presence is detected, rising to 100% for one minute when the road is busy.
This is the first installation of similar characteristics that is installed in the region, using cutting edge technology that enables optimum energy efficiency.
