Hospital de Molina has started its 4th WEEK OF HOSPITAL with a talk this morning at the Colegio Los Olivos, entitled "Health Cooperation in Honduras. A social commitment" given by Prof. Dr. Fernando Santonja Medina Hospital trauma surgeon Molina and the Clinical Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca, and member of the NGO "Ojos del Sur".
Santonja Medina explained to all students in secondary and high schools of the College Los Olivos his ordeal in a developing country, such as Honduras, where public health care is virtually nonexistent.
Since its inception in 1980, the NGO Ojos del Sur is helping to save lives, preventing deaths from infectious diseases and risk births or unhygienic situations.
