Molina Hospital welcomes in its facilities, from Wednesday April 13, an information table of the José Carreras Foundation for the fight against leukemia, to explain to the public awareness campaign and membership recruitment.
The information desk is located at the main entrance of the hospital in the morning and afternoon.
Under the motto "Until let cure, will not stop", the José Carreras Foundation has been working for 25 years to get leukemia is a disease 100% curable.
Currently, bone marrow transplantation is the only curative solution for a large proportion of patients with leukemia, and is responsible for managing Foundation, since 1991, the official registry of bone marrow donors in Spain (REDMO).
More than 6,000 people in the world have been transplanted by the searches performed each day.
Moreover, since the Foundation promote major projects through the Institute for Leukaemia Research Josep Carreras (IJC), created in 2010 by the Foundation and the Generalitat of Catalonia, whose objectives are to promote the development of research in leukemia and other blood diseases malignant, speeding up the implementation of new treatments, improve care and survival of patients, contribute to the formation of new researchers and synergies with other groups of national and international research.

The information table of the Josep Carreras Foundation will remain at the facilities of Hospital de Molina throughout the month of April.
