The awards ceremony for the XVII Painting Competition 2016, organized by the Department of Equality of the City of Molina de Segura, took place on Monday April 11, in the Exhibition Hall Municipal Jail.
He attended the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira.
The works submitted to the contest will be exposed in this room until April 25, and can be visited from Monday to Friday 11.00 to 13.00 hours and from 17.00 to 21.00.
In the competition involved women and men over 18 years old, born or resident in the Region of Murcia, in the categories of drawing or painting, and themed on women.
The awards covered are: 1st prize, 720 euros;
2nd prize, 360 euros;
and 3rd prize, 180 euros.
The ratio of winners is:
1st Prize: Juan Jose Martinez Canovas, by Untitled.
2nd Prize: Laida Blaya Perez for Braid Bunda.
3rd Prize: Araceli Martínez García, by Soleada.
