X Health Week Molina de Segura, organized by the molinense City Hall, Murciano Health Service (SMS), the Hospital de Molina, and health centers in the municipality, will take place from 11 to 17 April.
The program of activities has been presented at a news conference Friday April 8, by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Look, the Managing Director of the Hospital de Molina, Pedro Hernandez Jimenez, Coordinator Health Center Professor Jesús Marín Molina de Segura, Juan Francisco Menárguez Puche, and Health Center Coordinator Antonio García García Molina de Segura, Macanás Emilio Perez.
The Health Week, whose theme this year is PROMOTES YOUR HEALTH, NOT MEDICALICES, is an initiative of health promotion where all health, professional resources, groups and associations of relevance in the municipality participate and for seven days they give visibility to their important work among citizens, transmitting different messages with the common denominator of the importance of prevention and development of healthy lifestyles.
The aim of this tenth edition is to convey the message medicalization not our life;
healthy living habits are the best therapy for us to get good health.
Plaza of Spain will host the Health Forum Thursday 14 to Saturday 16 April, from 10.00 to 13.30 and from 17.30 to 20.30.
stands of health centers and associations that perform different activities such as assessment of overall health, cholesterol, blood pressure, oral revisions, will be installed etc.
