The Department of Family and Equal Opportunities, through the Directorate General of Women and in collaboration with the Directorate General of Educational Innovation and Care Diversity and the City of Molina de Segura, celebrated today an activity to raise awareness of equality between women and men in the Secondary School of Tader Vega, in which about 200 students participate.
As stated by the Director General of Women, Alicia Barquero, "equal education of youth and adolescents it is key to forming adults committed to a more just society free of gender violence".
This event allows the active participation of students of the institute through debate on issues related to gender roles and stereotypes in their daily lives and promoting healthy couple relationships.
Alicia Barquero said that "if we want to develop prevention strategies effective gender violence, we must foster a critical attitude towards toxic behaviors and that both boys and girls learn to value equality."
