The Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment, through the Integrated Agricultural Training and Experience (CIFE) of Molina de Segura Center, taught a course in technical and practical training on vegetable canning, canned fish and cutting, preparation and processing meat products, to a group of 8 students and 4 teachers training center agrifood Dutch Wellantcollege, Rijswijk, a town near the Hague, which held a 2 week stay in Murcia.
The course, 70 hours long, was developed in technical facilities and classrooms for such a center and all activities were conducted in English, as a measure to promote the use of the language among teachers and students of CIFE.
In addition, visits were made to agribusinesses to publicize its technological innovation as well as cultural activities to show cities and points of interest in the region and its natural spaces.
Wellantcollege training center is a training institution, headquartered in Rotterdam, which coordinates more than twenty schools of agricultural, food, livestock, forestry and gardening training distributed throughout the Netherlands.
The CIFE's in the Region of Murcia have been collaborating with this institution in training and exchange of teachers and students since 1994. Most of these activities are woodcocks by European mobility programs Erasmus and Leonardo da Vinci.
