This weekend begins the MOMUA, Molina Festival of Ancient Music, in its 2020 edition, totally online.ELMOMUA Throughout its career it has counted on the performance of groups specialized in the interpretation of early music, as well as specialist teachers, with great professional experience and projection at a national and international level.Directed by the musicologist Mª Ángeles Zapata and the violinist Lorenzo Cutillas, the organization is run by the Department of Culture of the Molina de Segura City Council and the female vocal group DeMusica Ensemble, whose commitment is to investigate, rescue, interpret, disseminate and promote music composed and / or performed by women, with the aim of making the role of women visible throughout the history of music.The Momua began its trajectory in 2017 with the aim of giving a cultural boost to the city, and revaluing the historical-artistic heritage of Molina de Segura (Murcia, Spain).
Taking advantage of the architectural and historical potential of the city, the Festival is based in the Museum of the Enclave de la Muralla- MUDEM, a cultural-museum space created with the aim of protecting and disseminating the remains of the Molina de Segura wall, a typical fortification of Andalusian origin between the 11th centuries and XVI.COURSES:HOW TO INSTRUMENT MEDIEVAL DANCES.
