| The National Dramatic Center and La Pharmaco perform the play at 8.30 pm | The Centro Dramático Nacional and La Pharmaco (Madrid) present the dance show A GREAT POLITICAL EMOTION on Friday, November 6, at 8:30 p.m., at the Villa de Molina Theater (in Avenida del Chorrico, n ° 10).

A great political emotion is a total scenic proposal inspired by Memoria de la melancolía, an autobiography by María Teresa León, which addresses the decisive years of our recent history, those of the Civil War and exile: years marked by political fervor, myth of the Revolution and faith in utopias. Without historicist pretensions, but with the intention of revealing the archetypal and universal of those events, it will try to embody that political emotion that pushes a people to believe in their right to intervene in the history of their country, as if the future of it belonged.
That emotion that the disasters of the 20th century (wars, totalitarianisms and their consequences) have delegitimized. Dance and physical action, songs and breathing, the author's original texts and an original musical proposal performed live and inspired by popular European themes, evoke the memories of María Teresa.
