The Municipal Monitoring Committee of COVID-19 in Molina de Segura, at its meeting yesterday, Tuesday, June 16, and following the recommendations of the health authorities, has validated the proposal of the Department of Equality of the Molinense City Council for the implementation Concilia Summer 2020 service, which will be provided from July 15 to August 15, as reported by the Councilor for Gender Equality and Violence, Montserrat Montanos Villegas. Once the Committee has given the go-ahead, the Equality proposal must materialize with the start-up of the service, following the recommendations of the health authorities, which establish a maximum number of students per class, a cleaning plan and disinfection (which will be developed in collaboration with the Department of Sports and Health), and operating guidelines that minimize the chances of infection with the COVID-19 virus. As a novelty, this year the Concilia Verano service will be exclusively for families in which both parents work or single-parent families in which the parent works. Montanos has also announced that the City Council has received a grant from the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, amounting to 33,454 euros, which will be used to provide conciliation services, such as the Summer Conciliation or the Opening Conciliation of Schools, which will be offered again from September in schools, from 07:30 to 09:00.
