| The opening is carried out following the Prevention Protocols of COVID-19 prepared by the Spanish Institute of Tourist Quality and Network of Tourist Offices in the Region of Murcia | Starting today, Monday, June 15, it will be attended in person at the Tourist Office of Molina de Segura, located at Calle Pensionista, number 3, as reported by the Tourism Councilor of the Molinense City Council, Andrés Martínez Cervantes.
This face-to-face service recovers its usual schedule: Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 14:00, and Saturdays and Sundays, from 11:00 to 14:00.
In addition, at those same times, it will be answered by phone at 968 388 522 and by email oficinadeturismo@molinadesegura.es. From the Molina de Segura City Council, through the Department of Tourism, the Tourist Office service is provided to visitors and tourists who pass through the municipality.
Due to the declaration of the state of alarm by COVID-19, the Town Hall was forced to stop providing the tourist information service in person, although it continued to provide service by telephone and by email.
On the other hand, the Office has collaborated actively during these months in the publication of all the specials that have been launched from the regional portal, such as Stay at home, Easter from home, Virtual visits from home, etc. For the reopening of the Office, the guidelines and recommendations set by the Spanish Tourist Quality Institute (ICTE) and the Network of Tourist Offices in the Region of Murcia have been followed.
Among the security measures adopted are the placement of informative exterior and interior signage on limited capacity and hygiene measures, as well as signage to maintain a safe distance.
Two methacrylate partitions have been placed on the counter and the customer service area, and the office has also been provided with hydroalcoholic gel and EPIS for staff. To avoid any type of contact with surfaces that could be contaminated, the paper brochures have been removed from the self-service area and have been replaced by QR codes that the user can download from their mobile phone.
Satisfaction surveys can also be carried out using the QR code. The Councilor for Tourism, Andrés Martínez, has indicated that "all these measures have been taken so that there is maximum protection against COVID-19, both for the office staff and for the users who visit us and who perceive our municipality as a safe destination.
