Alertcops, called the SOS button, makes it possible to reinforce security for victims of gender violence who are registered in the VIOGEN system.
This new function allows to establish, in a discreet way, calls, geo-positioned alerts, chat or append video to the alert, which immediately directly contact the Security Forces (National Police or Civil Guard Service Center, responsible for the information and monitoring of said application), being able to assess the seriousness of a situation in the face of an attack. It can be downloaded from the website of the Ministry of the Interior https://alertcops.ses.mir.es/miakertcops/ Montserrat Montanos has highlighted that "the City Council of Molina de Segura incorporates this resource from the Ministry of the Interior of the Government of Spain to those already existing in the municipality, in the line of taking advantage of the resources and making them accessible to the greatest number of women who may be suffering gender violence.
