After the closure of the nursery schools in the municipality on the occasion of COVID-19, the City of Molina de Segura has carried out the donation of food from these centers to Cáritas, as reported by the Second Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Education, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez.
The delivery of these foods occurred at the headquarters of Cáritas this past Monday, March 23, by officials of the Department of Education, in collaboration with operators of the Municipal Warehouse.
With this initiative, Cáritas receives new support and a municipal boost to its work of supplying food to families in need.
The products were collected at the Cañada de las Eras, Inmaculada, Consolación and El Llano nursery schools.
For the most part, these are fresh foods, such as eggs, yogurts, greens, fruits, and vegetables.
"It is an act of responsibility, at these times and always, to collaborate with those who need it most and that food is used by families. Cáritas is an essential entity and municipal collaboration with this entity will not cease," explains Fuensanta Martínez.
