The City of Molina de Segura informs the public that the protocols for air pollution, which were activated last Friday, January 24, have been deactivated by recovering pollution levels below the threshold of action, according to documentation provided by the Service of Environmental Planning and Evaluation of the General Directorate of the Environment.
The measurement stations of San Basilio (Murcia) and Alcantarilla, both belonging to the area of ​​air quality of the urban agglomeration of Murcia, in which Molina de Segura is located, did not register yesterday Sunday, January 26, none of the levels of action provided for in the aforementioned protocols.
The Councilor for the Environment, Mariano Vicente Albaladejo, thanked the collaboration and awareness of Moline citizens during the days that this episode of contamination by NO2 and PM10 particles (Nitrogen Dioxide and Particles less than 10 microns) has lasted.
