The Tax Agency of the Region of Murcia and the Irritant Inheritance of Molina de Segura have signed a collaboration agreement whereby the autonomous body will carry out the collection, in executive period, of all taxes, public prices and other income in favor of the watering community.
The agreement, for a period of four years extendable, will allow the Inheritance to expedite the management of its collections for the support of the community of irrigators and to cover the expenses derived from its operation and the actions of conservation, cleaning and improvement of its infrastructure for the administration and distribution of the waters among its comuneros.
The Tax Agency of the Region of Murcia will collect in general the debts in favor of the Irritant Inheritance of Molina de Segura for an amount greater than 30 euros whose management must be carried out within the territory of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, and for an amount over 60 euros for collections outside the regional territory.
The payment of the collection obtained will be settled monthly.
With this new agreement, the autonomous collection agency has signed agreements with 17 other irrigation communities throughout the Region that have delegated to the Tax Agency the management of their collections.
The Irritant Inheritance of Molina de Segura takes water from the Segura River for agricultural irrigation in a dam located in the district of La Algaida, in the municipality of Archena, from where the flows are distributed through the Molina de Segura major ditch and the Subirana ditch to a irrigable area that includes almost 2,000 hectares of land located in the municipalities of Archena, Lorquí, Molina de Segura and Murcia.
