The Department of Environment of the City of Molina de Segura, through the Environmental Education Service, and in collaboration with the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia, ECOEMBES and SERCOMOSA, receives Christmas With the campaign Molina thinks with the lungs, Recycle.
This initiative, through which citizens are aware of the importance of recycling correctly, has traveled in recent months the neighborhoods and districts of the municipality with a total of 20 actions.
Through skaters, activities, workshops and other actions, the residents of Molina de Segura have been able to find out how to recycle in their day to day and where to deposit each waste that is generated.
It has also reached citizenship through mupis and posters, radio and social networks, increasing collaboration in the selective collection and quality of this collaboration.
This Christmas, the Department puts the finishing touch to this campaign with three activities: on Saturday, December 14, from 10 am to 1 pm, it will be at the Christmas craft market Zoco del Guadalabiad, which will be located in the Plaza de España, with games and workshops, where much will be learned about recycling;
on Thursday, December 19, at the El Panderón market;
and on Saturday, December 21, in the traditional weekly market of the Park of the Company, activities will be offered so that young and old can create their Christmas decoration with recycled materials.
The Councilor for the Environment, Mariano Vicente Albaladejo, has invited "this Christmas, more than ever, to think with the lungs, and to reflect on our responsibility in reducing the waste we generate and in its proper separation in order to protect and care the environment and breathe cleaner air. "
