The Department of Gender Equality and Violence of the City of Molina de Segura, for the third consecutive year, continues to focus on Equality Education in the educational centers of Molina de Segura, with the development of the program of workshops Educating in Equality, aimed at students of 6th grade of Primary Education.
The students and students of the CEIP Nª Sª de la Consolación received today, Wednesday, November 6, the visit of the Councilor for Gender Equality and Violence, Montserrat Montanos Villegas, for the supervision in the classroom of the Educando en Igualdad workshops.
These workshops consist of 2 sessions:
- The first session consists of the visualization of different audiovisual fragments to analyze the possible stereotypes, encouraging criticism as a way of analyzing reality.
- The second session analyzes different journals, with the purpose of creating a space for reflection based on values ​​of equality between women and men, respect for difference, cooperation and tolerance.
Montserrat Montanos has verified this morning the value of Pro Equality Behaviors, the clarification of concepts and the reflection of students on non-egalitarian behaviors.
The trainer has projected a video, after which a debate has begun and clarified doubts.
The intention is for a positive message to remain in the student body and that it can lead to egalitarian models in everyday life.
