The Department of Gender Equality and Violence organizes storytelling, courses and training sessions to make visible the situations of inequality and ill-treatment related to gender and provide practical and educational solutions to prevent and eradicate gender violence in the municipality
The City of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Gender Equality and Violence, has launched, during the last four months of 2019, the training program We open our eyes to Equality, respect and good treatment, as a means to make visible the situations of inequality and ill-treatment related to gender and provide practical and educational solutions to prevent and eradicate gender violence in the municipality and work on equality, as reported by the Councilor for Gender Equality and Violence, Montserrat Montagas Villegas.
The training service is aimed at educational centers: Infant, Primary, Secondary, Baccalaureate, Grades, Center for Adults and other educational centers of the municipality of Molina de Segura interested in training in good emotional, psychological and physical treatment, and other groups interested in improving interpersonal relationships as a way to prevent and eradicate gender violence.
The actions contemplated in the program are the following:
Children's storytelling We like good treatment.
Course We open our eyes to Equality and Self-Esteem: it is taught on Tuesday, October 1, 8, 15 and 22 and on November 5, 12 and 19, from 11.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., in the Boardroom of the El Building Catch (3rd floor).
Course Facilitate the adaptation of daughters and sons after the breakup of the couple: it is taught on Tuesday, October 1, 8, 15 and 22 and November 5, 12 and 19, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., in the Boardroom of El Retén Building (3rd Floor).
Awareness course on gender equality and violence in municipal services.
Training session How to improve good emotional treatment from the family.
Psychological training session We improve good emotional and social treatment.
Psychological training session How to create egalitarian affective relationships.
Prevention of gender violence.
The training program is managed by the CAVI team, formed by a Social Educator, a Social Worker, a Legal Adviser and a Psychologist, as coordinator of the program.
The professionals in charge of teaching the courses and sessions belong to the Escan Project, with specialization in gender violence.
