The Molina Hospital has joined the summer campaign of the Regional Blood Donation Center for the summer period.
27 people approached yesterday, Tuesday July 16, to the hospital to donate blood, of which 3 did so for the first time, and 3 other people could not do it for medical reasons.
Finally, 24 effective donations were obtained.
In addition, 1 person had histocompatibility typing to become a bone marrow donor.
The Regional Blood Donation Center continues to need between 250 and 300 blood donations per day.
Especially strong is the demand for blood components, intended not only for surgeries, emergencies, etc., but also for hematological, chronic and oncological patients who need daily transfusions of blood components, especially platelets.
Under the slogan Come to donate blood, share life with us, the Regional Blood Donation Center travels more than 12,000 km this summer with its mobile units, so that donations can be made in more than 160 points enabled throughout the Region .
