The staff of Fini Golosinas has joined forces with the Molina de Segura Town Hall to promote the reforestation of the Vicente Blanes Ecological Park, a natural space in full restoration, which is located in the same municipality where the company has developed its entire trajectory.
During the day, more than fifty workers of the Murcia firm and their relatives have shared with environmental technicians information on the plant and animal species of the area, proceeding then to the plantation of around 200 native trees and shrubs.
Among the species used for the repopulation, there are more than a dozen varieties, such as pines, carob trees, holm oaks, mastic trees, black hawthorn, white cistus, juniper, lavender, rosemary or kermes oak.
This initiative, developed together with the Department of the Environment of Molina de Segura, is part of the conservation actions of the Vicente Blanes Park, in whose protection the social and business actors of the region are being involved, as well as the CSR plan of the company itself.
Recently, Fini Golosinas has deepened its commitment to respect the environment and sustainable development, implementing a new wastewater treatment system that has involved an investment of nearly one million euros.
