At the aforementioned meeting, the municipal officials presented two possible locations of municipal plots where the Ministry of Justice can build the new headquarters of the Palace of Justice.
"Its priority construction is a necessity, since the current situation of the courts is obviously precarious," explains Esther Clavero.
The Mayor has positively assessed the outcome of the meeting and affirms that "we see the future and we are going to start processing the land transfer files, we are very hopeful, Molina de Segura has the land and complies with the conditions."
He has also expressed his gratitude for the support of the TSJ and believes that the unanimity of all the agents involved (trade unions, workers, citizens, the Molinense Consistory and the TSJ) in the need for this new headquarters will be the joint force that will allow she in Molina de Segura ".
The first alternative offered by the City Council is a municipal lot of almost 10,000 m2, located in the neighborhood of Fatima, near the current Palace of Justice, which has a building area of almost 20,000 m2, and whose urban development would be ready in a maximum period of 8 or 10 months (once the necessary assignments have been resolved).
According to the Mayor, "this would be a very good option, but if the Ministry of Justice wants to start the project immediately, we have another municipal lot, direct urban land, which has about 12,500 m2 and a floor area of 22,788 m2, located next to the Antonio Peñalver Pavilion, in Cañada de las Eras ".
To date, the Mayor had held several meetings with both the President of the Court of Justice, and the Government Delegate, in which Clavero had transferred the priority that is for Molina de Segura to have the new headquarters so that the service decongest and that the facilities are suitable for both workers and citizens.
The Superior Tribune of Justice already collected in his memory this need for Molina de Segura.
Clavero affirms that they will continue in the effort "to have some dependencies that guarantee optimal working conditions, with the appropriate resources and with the privacy that most cases require, especially the Gender Violence Court".
"The duties on the part of the Molinense City Council are done and an imperative and unquestionable necessity that Molina de Segura needs from this Palace of Justice, now we only hope that it will be a reality as soon as possible," concludes Esther Clavero.
