The Molina de Segura City Council, through its Business Office, celebrates the award ceremony of the I Startup Molina Contest on Tuesday, March 5, at 8:00 p.m., in the Plenary Hall of the City Council.
Attending the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, and the Councilor for Economy and Finance, Urban Planning and Economic Development, José de Haro González.
Convened for entrepreneurial initiatives in the Region of Murcia and / or Molina de Segura, with the aim of encouraging and supporting innovation and boosting entrepreneurial talent, this contest has had the participation of 9 projects, opting for prize as the best entrepreneurial initiative in its initial phase.
The Association of Entrepreneurs and Merchants of Segura (ASECOM) has collaborated in the initiative, in its organization and dissemination, together with representatives of the University of Murcia, the European Center for Business and Innovation of Murcia (CEEIM), Banco Sabadell and the Molina de Segura City Council, as members of the Jury, following criteria based on innovative aspects, relevance in the markets, internationalization potential, technical feasibility and interest that may arise in possible investors, granting the following prizes to :
First prize of € 3,000 at the regional level: Tutuerca SL, Roque Espinosa Espinosa.
Second prize of € 2,000 at the regional level: Realfooding, María Isabel Riquelme Riquelme.
Local Prize, € 1,000: Espacio Ela, María Teresa Cano García.
Councilman José de Haro has highlighted "the technological nature in relation to ICT and the importance of giving the opportunity to enterprising initiatives in the initial phase, as well as contributing, with this, to the generation of employment, strengthening the local economy".
