The fleet of Municipal Services of the Molina de Segura City Council is renewed with four new vehicles, of which three have been presented today, Monday, March 4 in the Plaza de España, by the Mayor, Esther Clavero Mira, the Hiring Councilor, José de Haro González, the Councilor for Municipal Services, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, and the Manager of "Renault Herrero y López", Susana López Martínez.
The vehicles presented, an all-road and two vans, which soon will be added another way, will be assigned to Inspection tasks and Municipal Warehouse.
The acquisition of these four vehicles has involved an investment by the City of Molina de Segura 57,345 euros.
The Mayor explained that this renovation was necessary because of the serious shortcomings of some of the vehicles that were being used until now, and that required high maintenance and repair costs, which are now offset by new, modern, safe and fully adapted to the needs of the service they will provide.
Esther Clavero has specified that the last vehicles that were acquired for the Municipal Inspection was in 2008, and for the Municipal Warehouse in 2005. The councilor has advanced that is currently in process of purchasing another new vehicle, in this case intended for Civil Protection .
The two all road, Dacia Duster 4x2, will be used by the Municipal Inspection that requires moving through different areas of the municipality, both urban and rural.
The vans, one Dacia Dokker and the other Renault Kangoo, will be used to provide the various services carried out by the Municipal Warehouse.
