The presentation of the Project of Social Awareness and Quality in the Urban Environment, promoted by the councils of Social Welfare and Mobility of the City of Molina de Segura, took place today, Wednesday, February 13, in the Plaza del Museo del Enclave de la Wall (MUDEM).
The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, the Councilor for Social Welfare and Gender Violence, Ángel Navarro García, and the Councilor for Mobility, Antonio López Vidal, attended.
This project seeks to generate social awareness in Molinense citizenship in relation to social problems specific to the protection of minors, gender violence and migrant people.
The initiative goes out into the streets and squares of Molina de Segura, permanently, with images that reflect on the experiences of other different people, on the rights of children and on the inequality between men and women.
The citizens of Molinense, in its different routes and journeys through public roads, will find 18 images that have been placed in a disseminated manner in various public buildings.
After the presentation, a visit was made to four of the posters that have been installed: at the Jaime López Professional Music Conservatory (this poster is called Dreams and focuses on the rights of children);
in the El Jardín Exhibition Hall (this poster is called Helena and her birds-ideas, and it deals with women's freedom of choice and decision);
at the Colegio de Educación Infantil of Paseo Rosales (it is called Growing with creativity, and the theme of the image is related to the rights of children);
and in the CEIP Ntra. Sra. de la Consolación (this poster is called Corazón-Mapa, and it deals with the rights of migrants).
