The Molina de Segura City Council requires the regional government to set a budget and deadlines before collaborating with the cession of the spaces needed to carry out the works of the new Senior Center (12/02/2019)

The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, and the Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángel Navarro García, held, today, Tuesday, February 12, a meeting with the board of the Participation Council of the Social Center for the Elderly of IMAS in Molina of Safe to approach the next construction of a new building for said center, that will carry out the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.

Ángel Navarro has shown the satisfaction of the municipality of Molin with the announcement of said investment in the municipality, but, at the request of the IMAS of the cession of premises by the City Council to relocate the services currently provided in the center during the development of the works, has demanded from the regional government "provisional responses, such as budgeting the work (since for now only has been announced for 2019 the drafting of the technical project), to provide the implementation plan to know the deadlines and the plan of needs to be covered during the duration of the works ".

"The Molinense City Council is willing to collaborate with the assignment of spaces that are necessary for the duration of the work, but this implies a municipal expenditure that can not be carried out responsibly without previously knowing deadlines and real investment," concludes the Councilor for Social Welfare.
