The Town Council of Molina de Segura participates in a workshop on EDUSI, which takes place today, Thursday, November 8 at the Ministry of Finance, in Madrid.
A total of 130 cities with sustainable and integrated urban development strategies (EDUSI) meet in various workshops and plenaries with representatives of the management authority of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Commission to work on the selection of operations and projects that are going to be launched, such as the urban strategy Molina 2020 Avanza Contigo.
In the first of the 4 workshops and deepening sessions in the implementation of EDUSI, doubts are solved about the operation, the expense, the type of operations to be carried out, etc.
The EDUSI of Molina de Segura has already begun to take its first steps to formulate its first projects, at which time the FEDER authority and the European Commission are making the necessary instructions and instructions to present these first projects.
The European Projects Coordinator of the Molina de Segura City Council, Antonio Gomariz Pastor, considers it "essential that the criteria under which the cities with FEDER help, granted in the 2018 call, should be established quickly, must approve their Manual of Procedures and put operations are underway, so that the road to the work that citizens expect is cleared, which is to make the transformation of the city a reality in order to improve public spaces and facilitate social inclusion ".
