Atalaya (Andalusia) presents the play CELESTINA.
LA TRAGICOMEDIA, by Fernando de Rojas, winner of the National Theater Award, on Friday, October 26, at 9:00 pm, at the Villa de Molina Theater (at Avenida del Chorrico, n ° 10).
The price of admission is 10 euros.
La Celestina is written during the reign of the Catholic Monarchs, in the midst of a change of historical epoch, when the Middle Ages gave way to the Renaissance, with all the political, social and economic transformations that it entails.
With this work begins the Golden Age;
in fact the Tragicomedy that contains a remarkable addition to the text of the Comedia inicial- is published at the beginning of the 16th century.
Its theme and good part of its structure are rabidly current.
