The exhibition IMAGES AND MEMORY OF MAUTHAUSEN, organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Molina de Segura and the association AMICAL de Mauthausen, opens to the public from October 25 to November 8.
The opening ceremony will take place on Thursday, October 25, at 12.00, in the MUDEM Exhibition Hall, and will be attended by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, and the Councilor for Culture, Pedro Jesús Martínez Bathrooms.
The exhibition can be visited: mornings, Wednesday to Friday, from 10 am to 2 pm, and Sundays, from 11 am to 2 pm;
and afternoons, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The photographic exhibition Images and Memory of Mauthausen, organized on the initiative of the Austrian Ministry of the Interior, the Amicale de Mauthausen in France and the Amical de Mauthausen in Spain, with the collaboration of the Mauthausen International Committee, aims to make the public aware of the images that document the reality of this concentration camp and some external field, in order to keep the memory of the thousands of deportees alive in the fields of the Third Reich.
