The Town Council of Molina de Segura participates in the plenary of the VIII Assembly of the Urban Initiatives Network (RIU), where the municipalities that are implementing urban strategies for sustainable and integrated development meet, which takes place today, Monday, October 15 in the town of Benidorm (Alicante).
At this session of the RIU, representatives from all levels of public administrations meet to analyze how urban projects financed by the ERDF are contributing to change and improve the quality of life in cities.
The Urban Initiatives Network offers advice and strategic documents for the EDUSI calls and offers support to advance the transition towards a more sustainable and smart cities model.
The Coordinator of European Projects of the molinense City Council, Antonio Gomariz Pastor, attends this day, which in the afternoon sessions is focused on the improvement projects of electronic administration and municipal public services, and in which the criteria will be presented with those that the City council of Molina de Segura will be able to start up its projects of improvement of the TIC for a better and more fluid relation between the citizenship and its municipal administration.
All the projects that will be carried out until 2023 will be possible thanks to the European funds, in this case FEDER, and will change the city of Molina de Segura in a remarkable way.
The Coordinator of European Projects considers "a success the announcement made in the day to start from the Ministry and the Network of a direct support group for a year to the municipalities selected in the third call to finance their EDUSI, an important fact because of the complexity of these strategies and the need to accelerate these projects ".
