The Autonomous Community subsidizes with 11,500 euros, from the endowment received in charge of IRPF 2017, to the Association of relatives with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias of Molina de Segura (Afad), for the development of a comprehensive care program for the elderly .
The Director General of Family and Social Policies, Miriam Pérez, visited the day center of the Association today and recalled that "in 2015 there were a total of 119 specific places for the care of these patients and today there are already 164 places, which the Community finances with 1,710,000 euros ".
"We will continue to promote therapies in the concerted centers that allow those affected to maintain their skills in the fight against this disease," he added.
