The City of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Equality, has launched, for the third year in a row, the #NOesNO campaign, by a Molina de Segura free of sexual assault, coinciding with the celebration of the patron saint festivities of the location.
This year, next to the traditional banner in the zone of bars of the Park of the Company, a tent will be enabled with an identifying legend: PUNTO VIOLETA.
It is an action framed within the IV Plan for the Equality of Opportunities between Women and Men, which includes the awareness and prevention of situations of violence against women.
The Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, the Councilor for Equality, Rocío Balsalobre Sánchez, the First Deputy Mayor and Youth Councilor, Fernando Miñana Hurtado, and the Councilman of Local Holidays, Andrés Martínez Cervantes, visited, today, Thursday 6 September, the purple point in Paseo Rosales.
"The creation of a VIOLET POINT has as its mission to inform and sensitize the population about the prevention of sexist violence, achieving the generation of safe spaces, where all people can enjoy equal conditions, and where the entire population is involved in a responsible in the monitoring and reporting of violent behavior against women, "explains the Councilor for Equality.
In the tent, attended by volunteers from different women's associations, information and awareness will be offered, and fans and information brochures can be collected.
You can visit on September 6, 10, 11 and 12, at Paseo Rosales, from 10:00 to 12:00.
And in the bar area, on September 14 and 15, from 10.00 pm until the bars are closed.
