The Information and Welcome Center for Visitors of the Lagunas de Campotéjar-Salar Gordo, managed by the Department of the Environment of the Molina de Segura Town Hall, reopens its doors on Sunday, September 2 and offers a guided and interesting route for that day wildlife bookmark workshop.
This center, which can be visited on the first and third Sunday of each month from 10:00 to 14:00 hours, offers information on the ecological and landscape values ​​of the Lagunas de Campotéjar-Salar Gordo.
The first of the activities proposed for this Sunday will begin at 10.30 am, and will consist of a guided tour through Las Lagunas de Campotéjar along the path that runs through the lagoons, with the aim of making known to people who visit this natural space the great variety of birds, especially aquatic, that inhabit it.
In addition, other animals present in the lagoons will be discovered through tracks and traces.
Visitors will also know the typical flora of these salt marshes and the most characteristic habitats.
During the tour participants can make observations with telescope and binoculars.
At the end of this route, at 12.30, a wildlife bookmark workshop is planned to reinforce the knowledge obtained on the route and learn to identify the wildlife of this Special Protection Area for Birds (SPA).
Participation in both activities is free and it is not necessary to make prior registration, except for groups of more than 10 people.
