The Mayor of Molina de Segura presides over the act of taking possession of the new mayoress of El Rellano (19/07/2018)

The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, presides over the act of taking possession of the new Pedáneo Mayor of El Rellano, Marina Martínez Pérez, today, Thursday, July 19, at 5:45 pm, in the Plenary Hall of the City Council.

The Councilman of Pedanías, Antonio López Vidal also assists.

Marina Martínez Pérez has been appointed by decree of the Mayor, dated July 13, 2018, after the agreement of the Plenary of the Corporation, held on May 28, which modifies the first paragraph of the agreement also adopted by the Plenary in February 2016, in the sense of creating the El Rellano constituency for the election of Mayors-Pedáneas and Mayoresses-Pedáneas.

The law of local entities attributes to the Mayor / s the competence of the appointment of mayors, but also allows that he / she can, taking into consideration the request of neighborhood associations and in order to encourage participation in local life, agree that the designation of these mayors may be made by election by the residents of the municipality.

In 2007, 2011 and 2016 elections were held to designate the mayors of the municipality.

After the creation of the new district of El Rellano, it is provisionally named, and until the neighborhood consultation is carried out, Marina Martínez, who has been unanimously proposed by the board of directors of the Rellan Neighborhood Association.

Therefore, as of this moment, the municipality of Molina de Segura has seven mayors / as pedáneos / as, which are:
