The Molinense City Council offers two possible locations for the new building, which have been presented, today Friday, July 13, at the meeting held between the Mayor and the Town Planning Councilor with the President of the Superior Court of Justice
The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, and the Town Planning Councilor, José de Haro González, held a meeting today, Friday, July 13, with the President of the Superior Court of Justice (TSJ) of the Region of Murcia, Miguel Pasqual de Riquelme.
At the aforementioned meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the TSJ, municipal officials presented two possible locations of municipal sites where the Ministry of Justice can build the new headquarters of the Palace of Justice.
"Its priority construction is a need shared by the Molina de Segura City Council, the TSJ and the Government Delegation, since the current situation of the courts is of evident precariousness, as exemplified by the gender violence court, which can not develop their work in the best conditions In such a delicate matter, facilities that offer more privacy and adequate resources are required ", explains Esther Clavero.
The first alternative offered by the City Council is a municipal plot of about 10,000 m2, located in the Barrio de Fátima, near the current Palace of Justice, which has a building area of 20,000 m2, and whose urban development would be ready within a maximum period of 8 or 10 months (once the necessary assignments have been resolved).
According to the Mayor, "this would be the best option, but if the Ministry of Justice wants to start the project immediately, we have another municipal lot, direct urban land, which has just over 10,000 m2 and a buildability of 30,000 m2, located next to Antonio Peñalver Pavilion, in Cañada de las Eras ".
"Therefore, there is no excuse to start the construction project of the new headquarters of the Palacio de Justicaseñala la Alcaldesa." The City Council has already offered the land and, with all the necessary documentation, we will soon go to the Ministry of Justice to claim this important investment for Molina de Segura in order to be reflected in the General State Budgets for 2019, since the Palace of Justice offers its service to some 140,000 citizens of 6 municipalities.
