uring the event, the Manager of the Hospital Center, Pedro Hernández Jiménez, explained that "this award is an important recognition of the different actions that we have underway at the Hospital de Molina to actively promote the occupational integration of disability, through the incorporation of in staff, through the hiring of companies made up of people with disabilities, through collaboration agreements, etc. ".
Labor integration is a strategic line within the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the Hospital de Molina, which the organization carries out in two ways.
On the one hand, through the direct contracting of people with disabilities and their stable incorporation into their workforce: currently, 7% of its workforce is made up of people with disabilities.
And on the other, through contracts for the provision of services with companies made up of people with disabilities, such as the DOCUVIVA Special Employment Center responsible for the digitization service, custody and certified destruction of the clinical records of the Hospital de Molina -, the ASPAPROS occupational workshop in charge of upholstering the armchairs of the rooms of the hospital center -, the social and labor insertion company TOTAL PRINT digital printing -, etc.
In parallel, ASSIDO and the Hospital de Molina signed a collaboration agreement last April to provide practical training, supervised by two Hospital Center professionals, to a user of ASSIDO, in tasks of administrative assistant and guardian.
An agreement that aims to improve the quality of life of people with Down Syndrome and Intellectual Disability in the Region of Murcia and thus promote their school, family, social and work integration.
