The Department of Crafts of the City of Molina de Segura organizes a new edition of the Craft Market Souk of the Guadalabiad, which is held on Saturday, May 5, from 10.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. in the Plaza de España.
A MARKET OF THE CONSERVA with which the Zoco wants to immerse us in the splendid industrial pasture canning of the locality, and that will have, as usual every first Saturday of the month, with artisan products, such as honey and sweets, sausages, costume jewelery, ceramics, brooches, skin, natural cosmetics, etc., as well as workshops, games, bouncy, storytelling, music, Axel Skating Club exhibition and many other activities that children can enjoy throughout the day.
From 10.00 o'clock, the Plaza de España will return smells, sounds and flavors typical of the vegetable preserve that shaped Molina de Segura as COTA DE LA CONSERVA VEGETAL, offering different spaces where visitors can photograph themselves in the photocall and participate in the different programmed activities.
At 10.30 we will have the "Tío de la chirimita", a parade of 3 pitas and drums, accompanied by 5 cabezudos, which will tour the weekly market and Paseo Rosales.
At 11.00 the Axel Skating Club will offer a skating exhibition, and at noon there will be two workshops for the youngest, one for preparing canned vegetables and label decoration, and another for healthy eating.
We will also have, as of 6:00 p.m., with storytellers, by the IMAS Senior Center, a macramé workshop, the Molina Artisan Association, and hichables.
The program of activities includes, as of 6.30 pm, performances by the Francisco Salzillo Choir and Dance Group (Pujas Dance) and Cuadrilla del Soto de los Álamos.
