The 1st Jornadas Murciano-Andaluzas de Fisioterapia and V Jornadas de Osteopatía "Ciudad de Molina": "Physiotherapy and Osteopathy in the cranio-mandibular disorders", which will be held in Molina de Segura tomorrow, May 4, at the Las Balsas Municipal Center, It was presented this morning at a press conference.
Co-organized by the Molina de Segura City Council, the Hospital de Molina and the International School of Osteopathy in Madrid (EOM), these sessions will bring together approximately two hundred professionals related to physiotherapy, from all over Spain.
During the presentation of the same in which they have been present the Councilor for Public Health of the City of Molina de Segura, Esther Sanchez Rodriguez, the Medical Director of the Hospital de Molina, Eduardo Rodriguez de la Vega Espinosa, and the co-Director of the School International Osteopathy of Madrid in the Region of Murcia and member of the Scientific Committee of the Conference, Antonio Martínez Franco -, Eduardo Rodríguez de la Vega Espinosa, stressed the importance of contributing to the improvement of the training of professionals in this field: " One more year, from the Hospital de Molina, next to the School of Osteopathy of Madrid and the Molinense City Council, we celebrated in Molina de Segura a national conference with the aim of improving the training of physiotherapists in the approach and management of problems related to the jaw as cervical pain, headaches and many other pathologies, whose treatment is multidisciplinary by physiotherapist
utes, dentists and, even, psychologists - and that, in parallel, will serve as a meeting place and debate for physiotherapists and osteopaths.
In addition, we are proud to contribute to these conferences are held in our town, demonstrating once again that this city has a strong vocation for scientific dissemination.
The anatomical vision of the temporomandibular joint, bruxism, cervical dysfunction, the diagnostic algorithm of orofacial pain or psychological care within a multidisciplinary treatment of cranial mandibular disorders are some of the issues that will be addressed throughout this Conference, They will start at 9:30 am and will continue throughout the day, and will be developed with the collaboration of the Official Physiotherapy Schools of the Region of Murcia and Andalusia.
