The Creative Space Project Eduardo Linares Lumer, sponsored by the IES Eduardo Linares Lumer and supported by the city of Molina de Segura, has been presented at a press conference today, Thursday 11 February, by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and Site Director, Amparo Martínez Aloy.
It is a cultural project related to the Visual and Performing Arts which aims to offer citizens of Molina de Segura the possibility of sharing space and creative workshops with the students themselves calling the Bachelor of Arts.
Arises from the initiative of the Director of IES, Amparo Aloy, with encouragement from the Mayor of the town, with the claim that, over time, different artists active in regional and national scene will offer their wisdom to the attendees the workshops.
Eduardo Contreras explains, "This project is in line with other already developed in other institutes of Molina de Segura, and is intended to expand the cultural offerings of our municipality, in collaboration with schools."
Creative Space Eduardo Linares Lumera is open to students at the school and the rest of citizens 17 or older.
Registration hours are from 09.00 to 13.00 pm in the school itself or through telephone number 670 29 22 80.
Each activity will be advertised at least fifteen days in advance.
All workshops will be held in the center in the afternoon.
The advance scheduling for 2010 is as follows:
15, 16 and 17 February: Creative Dance Workshop, taught by Marisa Brugarolas, dance teacher.
From 12 to 23 April and from 21 to 30 June: Art Anatomy Course (Drawing and Oil), taught by artist and painter Juan Espallardo molinense.
5 to 9 July: Acrylics Course taught by the painter José Manuel Peñalver.
