DamiÃ Rigo (CB Capuchins): "The strength is the key defensive AD Molina" (30/01/2010)

Rigo DamiÃ Gual is a 24 years (12/19/1985) born in Port Campos (Mallorca).

During his teens was traveling several days a week to Llucmajor, a nearby town of 20,000 inhabitants, where he played until junior.

After 4 years at BC League EBA Printing Bay, also known as Palm Beach Park.

And now the leap to Murcia, why?

The jump to Murcia is for academic reasons.

Last year I finished Teacher of Physical Education at the University de les Illes Balears (UIB) and to the few job opportunities and interest in further studying something related to sports, I came to study the UCAM Cafd.

I got the rebound from other cities and measure shows that I moved to October in the city.

How do you define in the field?

Within the field above'm a team player.

I can help with interior defense stronger and taller than me and rebounding, while I like to play on offense to pull open or face the 1x1 from the outside.

Although I can easily adapt to what the coach look at me.

What role have you assigned Quini on the computer?

The fact that the team try to contribute my bit for the team to work best.

I am grateful to Quini for making me a place in the team with the league started and fully staffed.

With regard to the role assigned simply to use my features in various play situations.

I think the experience of having played several seasons Eba can help the team.

Capuchins after the win last Saturday against Elda has fallen in rank in an intermediate position, and far from the top positions as the descent.

Where do you think are your strengths?

I have not seen in any game but knowing the players, I can confirm that it is the best squad in the league.

It is clearly a project for promotion.

Not having seen any match yours, I can think that the strengths to be its defensive strength and have very experienced players at higher levels.

While seeing the results they have, I foresee that many aspects defensive work and a few points that fit normally.

How would you assess the level of basketball Murcia Balearic compared to what you've seen so far?

A category level, I'd say it's a fairly even.

Perhaps the difference this year is that several players have come ashore in the EBA National First Murcia by the disappearance of many top-class teams.

However, in the Balearic Islands 4 teams remain in EBA and most of these players that make up these templates are players in the islands.

Therefore say that the league is very even with the Balearics.

Of the teams you played against, what is the most surprised you?

For example, Elda is the only one who has earned Molina and yet not too high.

Do a lot of equality in this league?

If equality is evident in the category.

Many equal parts and the fact of playing at home often solves the game.

Otherwise, anyone can win at either.

I evidently making a game round, why not, Capuchins can beat Molina.

Finally, how long you expect to be in Murcia?

In principle I will be around 3 years, so at least I have planned to finish their studies.
