The program of activities organized to mark the twentieth anniversary of the Municipal Polyphonic Choir Hims Mola de Molina de Segura has been presented at a press conference today, Thursday 28 January, the Councillor for Culture of the City molinense, Mariola Martinez Robles, President of Mola Hims Coral, María Remedios Lopez Paredes, and choral directors, Pilar Fernández Gallardo and Manuel Serrano Arnaldos.
The activities will be developed throughout 2010, with several concerts and a major retrospective:
Concerts:

Easter: Concert with Chamber Orchestra Him Municipal Mola.

Over the course: A series of concerts (Easter, Spring, Santa Cecilia, Christmas) in Molina de Segura and inside and outside the Region of Murcia, with all sections.
Some concerts will be held in collaboration with the Orchestra, Band and a group metals Conservatory Master Jaime Lopez of the locality.

In summer concerts at the Cathedral of Ghent (Netherlands) and other churches.
Retrospective exhibition at La Prison de Molina de Segura.
HIMS CORAL MOLA, 20 YEARS PROVIDING THE NOTE
Date: From 6 to 20 September (during the festivity of the town).
Exhibition of photos and films on the history of the Coral along these 20 years.
Small concerts will also be of 15 minutes with small groups on specific days, recalling the repertoire sung in years past.
Besides the activities, the choir has presented its new website, whose address is www.coralhimsmola.com and monographic magazine edited for its twentieth anniversary.
20 YEARS OF MUNICIPAL HIMS CORAL MOLA POLYPHONIC
The Polyphonic Choir Hims Mola initial steps in the Municipal Academy of Music in Molina de Segura in June 1990 and his first concert on Christmas Day that year.
Is a response to musical concerns a group of colleagues who wish to contribute their bit for cultural panorama of Molina de Segura, actively participating in various cultural events organized in the municipality.
With the push of the founders of the choir and the continual introduction of new members, have expanded expectations, always from the love of music and the effort to improve, taking action outside the town and acting in different parts of the Region of Murcia, as well as in other communities (Andalusia, Castilla La Mancha, Castilla y León, Valencia, Asturias, Aragon, Basque Country, Navarra and Galicia).
The Coral is particularly proud of being able to sing in various locations in Europe: in 2001, two concerts in Vienna (Austria), with performances at the Cathedral of Peterkirchen Stephandom and, in 2003, Sintra and Lisbon (Portugal) in 2006 In France, at the Cathedral of Santa Maria la Grande, Poitiers, and Saint Etienne in Bourges, and in August 2008, Il Duomo Santa Maria dei Fiori in Florence (Italy).
In his modest but significant way, has collaborated with other musical organizations, both Molina de Segura as other localities, growing in content and diversity repertoire: Orchestra and Municipal Band Molina de Segura, Youth Orchestra Region Murcia, Orchestra and Choir of the Cathedral of Murcia, Mulina In Musici Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfónica de Elche and Cartagena Chamber Orchestra, for the interpretation of symphonic choral works of authors such as: Vivaldi (Magnificat, Credo and Gloria, Beatus vir) Mozart (Requiem), MSc.
Captain (Mass for 8 voices with trumpets) and Carl Orff (Carmina Burana), Mozart's Missa in Bb, Te Deum Laudamus Jeronimo de los Angeles, Te Deum by MA Champentier, Ode for St. Cecilia's day by GF Handel or Membra Jesu Nostri of Dietrich Buxtehude.
As Coral FECOREM belonging to the (Federation of Choirs of the Region of Murcia) has participated in numerous meetings and exchanges organized by the federation.
Since Christmas 2002, after being included in the Cultural Program of the Social Work Cajamurcia, has increased its activities in the Region of Murcia.
Has been particularly relevant in 2003 its participation in the Holy Year Jubilee of Caravaca.
As musical organization and the purpose of extending the choral music with a chorus of white and another youth, from where they work to involve youth and transmit the call for a cultural activity such as music.
More than 100 boys and girls learn and sing for the Mola Hims Polyphonic Choir can continue bringing choral music to all corners.
Arnaldos Manuel Serrano (founding member) is currently director with Pilar Fernández Gallardo, and have the invaluable assistance extraordinary conductor Virginia Martínez Fernández.
