The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, the Government Delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Migration in the Region of Murcia, Fernando Mateo Asensio, visited today Wednesday 10 January, construction of new Day Centre for the Promotion of Personal Autonomy in the neighborhood of La Molineta molinense.
They were accompanied on the visit, the Councillor for Social Welfare, Worship Molina Lopez and the Councilman of Municipal Works, Daniel Soltero Chaves.
The building is located on a municipal plot of 1,591 m2, located on Paris Street, corner of Lisbon Street.
It will have a floor area of 877 m2 (792.16 m2), on one level of 4 meters.
The works were awarded in August 2009 the company Construcciones y Torres López SL, amounting to 752,324.98 euros.
Lead time is 6 months and completion is expected by March 2010.
The project is funded entirely by the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Migration in the Region of Murcia, from the State Special Fund for the Revitalization of the Economy and Employment 2009.
The center will: lobby, reception, cafeteria and restaurant with terrace, patio lounge access program and functional classrooms, reading room, multipurpose room, multipurpose hall, ballroom, gym and meeting room.
It has given the same importance to both classrooms and the program, as the opportunities for communication and relationship, including patios and terraces, and dimensioned so that the building is not limited to the functional program, but is an area of enjoyment in its entirety, and users can share their free time on it.
